WordPress Engineer

Fabrik is a fully remote company that provides best in class publishing infrastructure (ad delivery, CMS, front end) for web publications. 

Project Description:

We are building products to support WordPress publishing clients including WordPress themes and WordPress plugins.

Requirements:

– Minimum 5 years of working experience in the web development industry, heavy WordPress experience is a must

– Very good knowledge of PHP, JS and other OOP languages

– Very good knowledge of MySQL/PhpMyAdmin and Git

– Expert level understanding of WordPress standards, database structure, themes, widgets

– Experience with Gutenberg block development and block parsing

– Experience building WordPress Plugins

– Experience with Advanced Custom Fields a plus, experience with setting up custom fields via plugin even better

– Familiarity with CSS compilers (Sass, Less)

– Upper-Intermediate level of English

Responsibilities:

– WordPress Plugin Development

– WordPress Theme Configurator Development

– Cooperate in a team with developers and other units (QA, Front-end, Design, Support, etc.)

Requirements:

– Minimum 3 years of working experience in the web development industry, heavy WordPress experience is a must

– Good knowledge of PHP and other OOP languages

– Good knowledge of Git

– Good understanding of WordPress standards, themes, widgets

– Good understanding of Gutenberg blocks including how to parse blocks on the front end

– Experience with Advanced Custom Fields a plus

– Familiarity with CSS compilers (Sass, Less)

– Upper-Intermediate level of English
